I’m still alive, honest

Monday heralded the arrival of the BIRTHDAY, celebrated with cupcakes, quartets (the Cupcake Quartet, in fact), and the first successful surprise party I’ve ever managed to pull off. It was amazing. While Tom was at work I discovered that John can sleep through someone whisking up three batches of cupcakes in the same room as him, and fought the urge to tidy up his stuff into a little corner. We played some music when the quartet was assembled, but mainly ate more inspired sandwiches and decorated my cupcakes. It was quite smooth. Continue reading

Fulham Matches and a sisterly visit

We went to visit Ross and Kim today, and to take the old pots to let Kim grow stuff in her garden. Ross was cross about it (a little bit) hehe, that’s always fun. On the way back, there was no parking. I don’t care how exciting it is that Fulham is playing Man U at home. The fact of it is, the stupid idiots are parking in MY space. I had to park really far away. Grrr. Continue reading
